Collaboration
Working with other artists, producers, and teams on Vwaza Studio.
How do I invite collaborators to a project?
Navigate to your content and use the collaboration tools to send invitations. You can assign roles (Performer, Producer, Writer/Composer, Featured Artist, Mixing Engineer, Recording Engineer) and define revenue split percentages for each collaborator.
How do revenue splits work?
When you add collaborators, you define the percentage each person receives from the content's revenue. All splits must total 100%. Payouts are automatically calculated and distributed to each collaborator's account.
Can I be part of multiple groups?
Yes. You can join multiple groups and have different roles in each. A Creator might be signed to a Label, work with a Publisher, and collaborate with a Creative Collective - all while maintaining their Creator account type.
What group types are available?
Vwaza Studio supports Labels, Creative Collectives, Artist Management companies, and Publishers. Each group type has specific features and permission structures tailored to how that type of organization works.
How do I accept or decline a collaboration invitation?
When someone invites you, you'll receive a notification and an invitation page showing the project details, your proposed role, and revenue split. You can accept, decline, or report the invitation.
Is there messaging built into collaborations?
Yes. Collaborators can message each other directly through the platform, share files, and track online status. All conversation history is preserved for reference.
